HOLY SCROLL!: KEROUAC ORIGINAL WORK GOES "ON THE ROAD"

    <<Click for closeup

The long scroll of attached pages on which Jack Kerouac wrote his groundbreaking novel On The Road is touring the country he wrote so vibrantly about. For a list of Road tour dates, see the official Jack Kerouac site: www.cmgworldwide.com/historic/kerouac . Upcoming dates:
March 24 to May 15 Las Vegas Public Library
    2006
January 14 to March 19 San Francisco Public Library
Even if you can't be there in person, you can, via the wonders of the web, still see the scroll, up close and personal. Can there be any doubt that, if he were a youth today, Jack would be a blogger, blogging holy words of jazzical joy from the Road?

It has been noted that, when unfurled, the scroll resembles the white line that adorns many a long road in this great nation. When will someone take the next leap and dedicate a road to Jack, by actually putting the entire text of "On The Road" on the road?
